The Gingerbread Town

Up in Oregon there is a group of people who create a magnificent, gingerbread village every year. Because Melissa was once part of that group, she knew that she had it in her to continue the tradition, despite being all the way in Southern California. Recruiting her fine husband, Matt, and her in-laws, Melissa set about to make a new kind of village...

Mom and Dad made an extra-large, gingerbread inn for all the little gummy bear residents of M&M Village.

Melissa's home was more traditional, but came complete with a swing and slide.

Apparently M&M Village was not only patterned after the Oregon villages, but also after Egypt. Matt's Egyptian gummy bears were busily creating the eighth wonder of the world.

Well, it was the first M&M Village, and we think it didn't turn out even half bad!
