Waiting for sunset, we decided to go up to Pu'u O Mahuka Heiau. Its the ruins of an old Hawaiian temple that sits above Waimea Bay. Don't quote me, but I believe that the word "Heiau" means "Temple" or something similar. I guess lots of people don't come here because they used to do human sacrifices and because after a heavy rain, Waimea Falls runs red (lots of iron oxide in the dirt).
