Aside from pretending we are ocean creatures, we have in fact been up to other shenanigans. Jason and Heather invited us to go to the Hawaii State Fair this last Saturday. We don't want to even say how much we spent trying to beat the system on all the carnival games, (we can say we spent less than the Tangs! ), but at least we came away with five stuffed animals to prove our skill. Pretty fun to go back to the days of wasting money on "for the moment" stuff...can't say we regret it one bit! It was worth the amusement.

Yesterday we got to go to Hawaiian Waters water park with Matt's eighth graders. We were invited as chaperons, but we just played the whole time, trying out every ride. Good, good times!

We spent more and only walked away with 2 stuffed animals! Freakin' carnies taking all our money...
